Was saddened to hear this when I woke up...details are still unknown...click here for more on the news
On a personal note, Baatin along with T3 and Bahamadia we're the first artists that I ever brought to visit my college. Since they were in DC for a concert, and I was on the GU radio station, my boy Kwasi Jones called and set us up to do interviews/meet & greets on campus. Nothing fancy, just us hanging in an outdoor courtyard, meeting students, signing autographs, playing music, freestylin and having a good time. Afterwards Baatin was looking for places to hangout in the city, to which I replied with all the hot clubs, he instead opted to find the mall and a movie, lol...real down to earth dude...they showed mad love that day...Slum Village lives on...
